glorious failure

So far this blog every day thing has already fallen on its arse.  Onwards and upwards I say.

The first five days of being self employed are now officially over and apart from being on the radio all five days covering Miss Brown.  I haven’t done nearly enough stuff that I could define as ‘freelance’ .

I have myself down at the Stand Comedy Club in Edinburgh on Monday to try out new material.  However the problem with that plan is that I haven’t moved my arse to actually write anything.  I have vague things that I think could be something but probably aren’t.  It’s not that I have some sort of special artistic temperment and that I need to be in the right frame of mind in a quiet room to come up with comedy gold, it’s just that I am a lazy, lazy cunt.

Anyway have some music.  These are the Xcerts, who were originally from Aberdeen and the video for their new single ‘do you feel safe’.  Very good it is too.
